The WeightWatchers Finance Team drives business success by leveraging data analytics and best practices to deliver insightful financial reporting and analysis. This enables strategic decision-making across the organization, ensuring the company's financial health and sustainability.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Finance Professional to lead our Performance Control team. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for:

Financial Accounting and Controlling
  • Leading the month, quarter, and year-end close activities in collaboration with Corporate Finance and Finance Shared Services.
  • Managing the monthly Revenue Recognition Accounting and gross-to-net adjustments, including promotions and refunds, utilizing pricing models to account for revenue and liaising with Engineering and ERP teams as required.
  • Liaising with and ensuring the accounting function is in compliance with audit requirements: purchase to pay, record to report, T&E, accounts receivable, account payable, and payroll.
Internal Controls
  • Identifying, mitigating, and reporting on risk issues according to guidelines and ensuring appropriate escalation processes are followed.
  • Implementing and maintaining effective internal controls over financial reporting, monitoring compliance with internal control procedures, and identifying areas for improvement.
Business Partnering/Projects
  • Delivering top-tier business partnering to assigned business areas to drive performance, focusing on expense management, accounting, and financial reporting.
  • Leading and/or participating in corporate-driven projects/initiatives as well as process improvement initiatives as assigned or directed.
  • Reviewing and approving journal entries and Balance Sheet reconciliations.
  • Leading the team to prepare frameworks to succinctly take complex data and translate it into clear and concise recommendations.
  • Ensuring the team leverages knowledge of data capabilities across the organization to build and deliver on business analytics and insights.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Minimum 5 years of finance experience in the US environment at a senior manager level.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, analytical tools, and Internet applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret data and draw conclusions.
