About the Role:

The Vice President, Sustainability will be responsible for leading our global sustainability strategy, defining and executing our objectives in critical areas such as climate, circularity, and impact. This role will require a deep understanding of sustainability principles, experience in leading brand sustainability programs, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability into our organizational strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sustainability strategy that aligns with our organizational goals and values.
  • Lead a high-performing sustainability leadership team and collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability into our business practices.
  • Partner with Amer Sports Group and the sustainability teams of our sister brands to share best practices and maintain collaboration of our common goals.
  • Define and direct forward-thinking metrics and ensure consistent, credible reporting on our sustainability initiatives and science-based targets.
  • Develop and execute innovative sustainability strategies that position us as a leader in global sustainability practices.
Requirements:
  • 15+ years' experience in leading brand sustainability programs.
  • Advanced education in sustainability, environmental science, or a related field.
  • Experience with complex project management, including coordinating multi-stakeholder interests and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to set a clear vision, align teams around common objectives, and foster commitment to these objectives.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to make decisions and take calculated risks.
What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary range of CAD$216- CAD$270,000, depending on experience and qualifications. We are committed to creating an inclusive workplace that reflects the communities where we operate and fosters a culture of trust, transparency, and collaboration.
