Job Summary

As a member of our Personal Banking and Small Business team, you'll work in a dynamic banking center where you'll make a real difference in the lives of our clients. As a Financial Services Representative - Dynamic Team Player, you'll be proactive in engaging with clients and leveraging CIBC's unparalleled mobile and online banking services to recommend tailored solutions and products that drive their financial success.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Client Mobilization - Meet with clients to understand their personal and business priorities, provide guidance on potential solutions, and establish a long-term financial plan. Leverage your knowledge of cash management, credit, investments, and asset protection to help clients achieve their goals.
  2. Relationship Building - Participate in marketing and outreach activities to demonstrate to clients that their community and customer relationships matter to us. Expand your network, deepen existing relationships, and collaborate with others to connect clients with the right people and opportunities.
  3. Technology Expertise - Become a technology specialist and share your knowledge with clients to help them better manage their banking needs through our mobile banking applications.
Requirements

  6. Professional Certification - Hold current and compliant professional certifications, such as a mutual fund license (successfully completed the Canadian Securities Course or the Canadian Investment Funds Course).
  7. Experience - Have at least one year of experience in client-facing roles and sales performance. Prior banking experience in a similar function is an asset.
