Responsibilities- Achieve Cost Savings through negotiations with suppliers for site spend, conducting competitive bids for capital and commodity projects. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement productivity improvement and sourcing project initiatives.
- Optimize Requisition to Payment Processes by qualifying alternative suppliers and managing supply risks. Work with internal stakeholders to streamline procurement processes.
- Meet Procurement Targets on spending, weighted average vendor pay terms, and supplier performance. Lead non-commercial events as required to meet objectives.
- Interface with Other Procurement Operations Managers at each Arconic manufacturing site in the U.S. to develop and leverage in-depth understanding of purchasing processes, critical material sourcing, and savings initiatives.
- Fulfill Auditing and Compliance Requirements related to Procurement processes.
- Bachelor's Degree or Higher from an accredited Institution. (Engineering, finance, business, or supply chain preferred)
- 3 Years Previous Work Experience in purchasing and/or supply chain management.
- Professional Certification - Certified Purchasing Manager (CPIM, CPM, or CSCP) is preferred.
- JD Edwards or Oracle Experience.
- Project Management skills, able to manage resources and timelines.
- Technical Proficiency required, ability to read prints and understand complex manufacturing processes.
