At Electronic Arts Inc., we're pushing the boundaries of what's possible in sports gaming. As a Technical Product Director, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our technology.

Our Advanced Technology Group is at the forefront of innovation, identifying and creating new technologies that drive game teams forward. We're looking for a collaborative leader who can work closely with game teams, central art teams, and the Frostbite engine team to deliver strategic, multi-year projects.

As a Technical Product Director, you'll help shape the technology, tools, and workflows to support long-term strategic projects across all EA Sports franchises. You'll be a leader and a technology champion, advancing character creation, realistic visuals, and user-generated experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the development team to advance the core technologies supporting EA Sports long-term technology initiatives.
  • Propose strategy for shared technology to support advancing character creation, realistic visuals, and user-generated experiences.
  • Transform technology strategy into execution plans, in collaboration with Frostbite game engine teams and EA Sports game teams.
  • Guide the team's engineering and architectural best practices, in partnership with the Technical Lead.

Requirements:

  • Technical leadership and/or mentoring experience.
  • C++, architectural, and software engineering skills.
  • Experience with the software design/architecture process.
  • Demonstrated ability to explain technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working with technical and creative partners.
