Indigenous Bail Program Specialist

Job Description:
">The Indigenous Bail Program Specialist is responsible for supervising Bail Court orders and monitoring bail release conditions. This role requires working with clients using a culturally appropriate approach within an interdisciplinary social justice team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
">This position requires a preferred postsecondary diploma/degree or equivalent in Social Justice Services, or minimum of three years work in social or justice services environment. Strong knowledge of Indigenous culture and history, with emphasis on colonialism, systemic discrimination, trauma impacts, and barriers facing Indigenous communities; knowledge of Indigenous language(s) is an asset.

">A valid Ontario Driver's License and access to a vehicle are required. A clear criminal reference check (CPIC) and Vulnerable Sector Clearance is a condition of employment.
