About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at First Call Construction. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of workmanship in the construction of residential and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and Construct Building Frames
    • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials to build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
  • Install Finishing Touches
    • Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware to ensure a smooth and safe living or working environment.
  • Maintain and Repair Structures
    • Performing routine maintenance, repairs, and renovations to residences and wooden structures in various settings, including mills, mines, hospitals, and industrial plants.

Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
