Job Title: Construction Labourer

At Drainville, we are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the construction process, including loading and unloading materials, reading blueprints, and instructing apprentices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials
  • Read blueprints to determine work requirements
  • Instruct apprentices
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
  • Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites

Credentials:

  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) training
  • Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certificate
  • Confined Space Entry Training
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Driver's License (Class 3 or D)
  • Fall Arrest Protection Training Course
