Job Title: Construction Labourer

We are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team at Applewood Forming Inc. as a permanent employee.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the construction process, including loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials, erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades, mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt, and performing other tasks as required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials
  • Erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades
  • Mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt
  • Paving and raking asphalt
  • Cleaning and piling salvaged materials
  • Removing rubble and other debris at construction sites
Requirements:
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physically demanding work
  • Tight deadlines
  • Manual dexterity
  • Repetitive tasks
  • Handling heavy loads
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a variety of locations, including outdoors, at heights, and in confined spaces. The work environment will be physically demanding, with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks.
