We are seeking an experienced Camp Program Director to oversee the operations and programming of our summer camp, school, and outdoor education programs. As a key member of our team, you will ensure high-quality programming that reflects our mission and values while maintaining a professional and friendly environment.

Job Summary

This is a full-time position with opportunities for professional growth and development. You will be responsible for managing the daily operations of our programs, including hiring, training, and overseeing program staff. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and proficiency in software will be essential in ensuring the success of our programs.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have experience with program design, implementation, and evaluation, as well as certification in First Aid/CPR or equivalent. A bachelor's degree in Education, Environmental Science, or a related field is preferred. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with clients, community partners, and staff.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage the operations and programming of the summer camp program.
  • Develop engaging programs such as school day trips, day and overnight summer camp programs, and events like wellness retreats.
  • Hire, train, and oversee program staff.
  • Evaluate and improve current programs, ensuring compliance with OCA and United Church camping standards and provincial laws.
