Job Summary:

This position will play a key role within SaskPower's Nuclear Development Division leadership team. As a Project Control Specialist, you will be responsible for the administration of strategic and operational functions, providing expert advice and direction that aligns with departmental and corporate goals and objectives.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement processes, policies, and procedures to support the development of strategies and business initiatives that address the organization's requirements and comply with nuclear regulations.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in a specialized function to develop, implement, coach, and assist management staff in the administration and interpretation of corporate policies.
  • Lead and/or participate in cross-functional projects to provide functional expertise for corporate and departmental strategic planning initiatives.
  • Represent the department and prepare and present material to internal and external audiences as required.

Requirements:
  • Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Commerce, or other related equivalent AND/OR;
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) designation, Prince 2, or equivalent AND/OR;
  • Five (5) years of related experience in project management or project support experience (working with Primavera, SharePoint, Power BI, etc.).
