Job Description

Leach Financial Services is a leading financial services company based in Calgary, Alberta, offering a range of financial and advisory services to clients in the region with flexibility for remote work.

Role Overview

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Financial Analyst at Leach Financial Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for financial planning, treasury and cash management, payroll administration, data analysis, and financial reporting. The role is based in Calgary, AB, with the flexibility to work remotely.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement financial plans to achieve business objectives
  • Manage treasury and cash management functions to optimize financial performance
  • Analyze and compile financial data to inform business decisions
  • Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders
  • Administer payroll and benefits programs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business results

Requirements

  • Strong financial planning and analytical skills
  • Experience in preparing financial statements and reports
  • Knowledge of finance and financial reporting principles
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • Professional certifications such as CFA or CPA are an asset
