About This Opportunity

We are seeking a primary care physician to join our collaborative practice in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia. Our state-of-the-art facility offers ocean views and a dynamic work environment. The successful candidate will be part of a team consisting of four other family physicians, one nurse practitioner, a family practice nurse, a social worker, and a part-time dietician.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver comprehensive primary health care services to patients of all ages and stages of health or illness.
  • Work collaboratively with other providers in the clinic to provide cross-coverage and same-day access.
  • Contribute to quality improvement and evaluation activities.
  • Utilize an electronic medical record (EMR) and record relevant patient details in a provincially approved EMR accessible to the collaborating team members.
Qualifications
  • The successful candidate must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia (CPSNS).
  • Membership with the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC) is required.
  • Membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) is also necessary.
