Vision Care Specialist

The Vision Care Specialist is a critical member of our healthcare team, responsible for assessing and treating disorders of binocular vision, visual development, and ocular motility. This role requires a high level of expertise in evaluating and diagnosing strabismus, visual acuity, stereoacuity, and other vision-related issues.
As a key player in patient care, the Vision Care Specialist will work closely with ophthalmologists, neurologists, and other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans and provide nonsurgical interventions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role, as they will be working with patients, families, and healthcare teams to achieve optimal outcomes.
About YouWe're looking for a skilled professional with a strong background in Orthoptics or Ophthalmic Medical Technologists. Certification as an orthoptist by the Canadian Orthoptic Council is a must. In addition to technical expertise, we need someone who can prioritize tasks, manage stress, and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Apart from English, proficiency in French is an asset. If you're a motivated individual with excellent organizational skills and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care, we'd love to hear from you.
What We OfferThis permanent, full-time position comes with a competitive salary range of $34.68 to $43.80 per hour.
