Neighbourly Pharmacy is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Manager to lead our team at the Goldstream Guardian Pharmacy in Victoria, BC.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate staff to provide exceptional patient care and maintain a high level of professionalism.
  • Supervise and direct staff, ensuring the financial and operational success of the pharmacy.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, supporting staff pharmacists in their cognitive and patient care functions.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, provincial, and local laws and regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Stay current on the latest advances in the pharmacy industry through continuous professional development.
  • Provide professional and clinical functions related to dispensing, patient counseling, and collaboration with healthcare professionals.
  • Facilitate regular team meetings to communicate and implement new/existing policies and procedures.
  • Perform performance assessments and training for new employees.
  • Collaborate with the front store team to identify patient care opportunities.
  • Actively seek out new and innovative ways to improve processes.
  • Manage P&L statements and attain target metrics, including labour, inventory, and expense control.

Education and Experience:

  • Licensed and in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia.
  • Minimum 1 year of prior experience as a Pharmacy Manager is preferred.
  • OAT certification.
  • Licensed to Administer Medications by Injection is a must.

Technical Skills:

  • Excellent customer service skills and a strong sense of professionalism.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-directed and able to work independently.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
