Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer to join our team as an Earthworks and Site Remediation Expert. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for leading the development of civil designs for large-scale projects, with a focus on earthworks, site remediation, solid waste, and renewable energy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design of civil projects, including earthworks, site remediation, solid waste, and renewable energy.
  • Develop and verify the technical scope of projects.
  • Work closely with Business Leads and Managers, Project Directors, and the engineering group to facilitate decision-making related to civil design.
  • Ensure the client's requirements, specifications, and standards are integrated into the project.
  • Ensure quality control processes are followed.
  • Mentor and develop junior staff.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
  • Minimum of 10 years of extensive technical design experience.
  • Proven experience in civil design delivery for larger, multi-discipline projects with a focus on earthworks, site remediation, solid waste, and renewable energy.
  • Experience working in a Design-Build environment is considered an asset.
  • Detailed understanding of local Agency (or equivalent) Codes and Standards is considered essential.
  • Experience working in an integrated 3D environment.
  • Team building and mentoring skills.
