Job Title: Detailer - Structural Steel Drafter

We are seeking a highly skilled Detailer - Structural Steel Drafter to join our team at Apex Structural Design Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing engineering designs and drawings, developing and preparing design sketches, and completing documentation packages and drawing sets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare engineering designs and drawings for structural steel fabrication
  • Develop and prepare design sketches for steel fabrication projects
  • Complete documentation packages and drawing sets for steel fabrication projects
  • Examine drawings for conformity and errors
Requirements:
  • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent experience
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in steel fabrication or a related field
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately
