Medical Laboratory Specialist

Joseph Brant Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team in the Hematology Laboratory. As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality laboratory services to our patients.
About the Role:- Perform testing, calibration, quality control, and maintenance procedures on reagents and equipment, including troubleshooting, in accordance with departmental policies, procedures, and standards.
- Work in a fast-paced laboratory environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities to meet deadlines.
- Collaborate with laboratory staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely test results.
- Develop and maintain a strong working knowledge of Clinical Chemistry, Hematology, and Transfusion Medicine.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of laboratory policies and procedures.
