Job Title: Veterinarian, Exotics Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Veterinarian with advanced training in exotics to join our team at CARE Centre Animal Hospital in Calgary, AB.

About the Role

As a successful candidate, you will have the opportunity to lead the creation and development of your ideal exotic department, supported by our emergency doctors and specialty services. You will be responsible for providing exceptional care to exotic patients and working collaboratively with our team to deliver the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality medical care to exotic animals, including surgical procedures, preventative care, and nutritional advice.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for exotic patients, working closely with our emergency doctors and specialty services.
  • Collaborate with our team to deliver exceptional patient care and promote a positive work environment.
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in exotic medicine.
  • Contribute to the development of our exotic department, including creating and implementing policies and procedures.
