We are seeking a skilled Delivery Route Specialist to join our team at Lifestyle Mattress Lounge Ltd. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient delivery of our products to customers across various routes.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and Maintain Vehicles: Safely operate and maintain company vehicles, including automobiles, vans, and light trucks, to pick up and deliver products to customers.
- Communication and Customer Service: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, provide excellent customer service, and resolve any issues that may arise during delivery.
- Sales and Merchandising: Sell products over established routes, promoting our brand and products to customers.
- Loading and Unloading: Load and unload goods from vehicles, ensuring that products are handled with care and delivered in excellent condition.
- Vehicle Inspection and Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of vehicles, ensuring that they are in good working condition and meet company standards.
- Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent travel and exposure to varying weather conditions.
- Physical Demands: Be able to lift, push, and pull heavy objects, as well as stand for long periods of time.
- Team Player: Be a team player, working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve company goals.
- Work Term: Work on a permanent basis, with a regular schedule of 35 hours per week.
- Work Language: Speak English fluently, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
