Senior Communications Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Communications Consultant to join our team at Fraser Health. As a key member of our communications team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective communication strategies to engage internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement communication plans to support the hospital's redevelopment project
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and engagement
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including media, community groups, and government agencies
  • Provide strategic communications counsel to senior leaders and project teams
  • Develop and implement social media strategies to engage with internal and external stakeholders

Requirements:

  • University degree in Communications, Public Relations, or related field
  • 5-7 years of experience in communications or public affairs, preferably in a healthcare or public sector organization
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective communication strategies
  • Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects
