Senior Communications Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Communications Consultant to join our team at Fraser Health. As a key member of our communications team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective communication strategies to engage internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement communication plans to support the hospital's redevelopment project
  • Provide strategic communications counsel to internal stakeholders, including Executive Directors and Medical Directors
  • Collaborate with the Communications department to ensure consistent messaging and branding
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external partners, including media, community groups, and stakeholders
  • Manage projects on budget and on deadline, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality communications materials

Requirements:

  • University degree in Communications, Public Relations, or related discipline
  • 5-7 years of experience in communications or public affairs, preferably in a public sector or healthcare organization
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective communication strategies
  • Strong writing, editing, and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
