Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Front Desk Agent to join our team at Westover Inn. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, handling room reservations, and ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in and check-out process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Services: Register arriving guests, assign rooms, and process group arrivals and departures.
  • Room Management: Take, cancel, and change room reservations, and maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments.
  • Customer Service: Provide information on hotel facilities and services, and assist guests with special needs.
  • Administrative Tasks: Balance cash, complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Communication: Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages, and provide general information about points of interest in the area.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in word processing software, database software, and spreadsheet applications.
  • Work Conditions: Ability to stand for extended periods, work under pressure, and maintain attention to detail.
