Job Title: Senior Infrastructure Manager

About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Infrastructure Manager to join our team at Burgundy Diamond Mines. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of waste management, camp operations, and infrastructure maintenance at our Ekati Diamond Mine site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage waste management activities, including landfill maintenance, incinerator building operation, potable water deliveries, and sewer truck operation.
  • Support and oversee the Camp, Catering & Janitorial Contract, including quarterly meetings to review contractual obligations.
  • Assign work and supervise the performance of personnel working within responsible teams.
  • Responsible for employee development through one-on-one coaching and mentoring.
  • Support the concept of Zero Harm through effective safety, health, and environment management practices.
  • Initiate investigations of all accidents and incidents.
  • Manage and oversee budgets and invoice payments through Service Entry Sheets in SAP.
  • Support Aviation Services Teams with inbound and outbound flights, including ad-hoc support and passenger movement.
  • Manage OPEX/CAPEX for departments through continuous improvement and engage in departmental improvement projects.
  • Ensure company policies and standard operating procedures are followed.
  • Required to work with and thoroughly understand ETAS and SAP Systems.
  • Contribute to annual budgeting, including quarterly reviews and winter road orders and costs.

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years' supervisory experience.
  • Valid Supervisory Ticket.
  • Food safe level 2 certification.
  • Valid first-aid ticket.
  • Class 5 drivers license required for area inspections.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Transport Canada's CARS/NAV Canada regulations.
  • Ability to influence others and drive continuous improvement without direct report control.
  • Ability to problem solve and remain calm under pressure.
  • Working knowledge of SAP and strong computer literacy with willingness to learn new computer skills.
