We are seeking a skilled Residential Carpenter to join our team at Harkirat Construction Ltd. as a Project Lead.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing residential construction projects, ensuring timely completion, and maintaining high-quality standards.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare building layouts according to codes using measuring tools
- Cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials like wood, steel, and other materials
- Constructing foundations, installing floor beams, laying subflooring, and erecting walls and roof systems
- Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
- Supervising other workers on-site
- Maintaining, repairing, and renovating residences and wooden structures in various settings
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in carpentry or a related field
The estimated annual salary for this position is $$$45,000-$60,000. Additional benefits include:
- Working Hours: 35 hours per week
- Language: English
This is a permanent full-time position with regular working hours. The work environment is diverse, with opportunities to work on various projects and sites.
