Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Management Analyst to join our IT Operations team at NBC. As an Intermediate Network Analyst, you will be responsible for resolving network incidents and carrying out various change requests.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing simple to complex network incidents
  • Processing various network operational requests in a timely manner
  • Overseeing alerts from the various monitoring systems
  • Ensuring the stability of environments and their use
  • Keeping the CMDB up to date when changes are made to the environment
  • Helping remediate security issues
  • Implementing the firewall rules previously approved by the security team

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic team and contribute to the success of our organization. As a Network Management Analyst, you will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of technologies, including Cisco, F5, CheckPoint, and AWS.

You will be responsible for managing network incidents, processing operational requests, and ensuring the stability of our environments. You will also have the opportunity to work with our security team to remediate security issues and implement firewall rules.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Solid problem resolution experience in a Cisco environment
  • Very good knowledge of network technologies/concepts (Switch, Router, firewalls, network accelerators, VPN, load distributor (F5), DNS, Proxy, QoS)
  • Knowledge of network tools (Wireshark, Zabbix, etc.)
  • Experience in the financial services sector an asset
  • Excellent ability to work in complex environments and grasp complex technological concepts
  • CCNA certification, an asset
  • ITIL certification an asset
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Independent and results-oriented
