As a senior recruitment and business development consultant with Fed IT, I am excited to present an exceptional opportunity for a talented IT security analyst (governance and strategy) to join our client in Boucherville on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where they can utilize their skills and expertise to drive cybersecurity governance and strategy across the organization.

This role requires a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will be able to analyze current system security measures, identify areas for improvement, and develop and implement effective solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting regular system tests and continuous monitoring of network security
  • Developing project schedules for ongoing system upgrades
  • Ensuring restricted access to computer systems based on staff needs and roles
  • Collaborating in the establishment of disaster recovery procedures and executing security breach exercises

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • 5-8 years of experience in a similar position
  • Strong knowledge of operating systems, including Windows and Linux
  • A good understanding of network security architecture and development
  • Familiarity with ISO 27001/27002, COBIT, and ITIL frameworks
  • Experience with third-party auditing and cloud risk assessment methodologies, such as AWS and Azure
