Counsellor Position in Elementary Education

We are seeking a Counsellor to join our team at the Elementary level. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support and guidance to students, as well as collaborating with other professional staff to develop and implement effective educational programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and group counselling services to students
  • Develop and implement effective educational programs to meet the needs of students
  • Collaborate with other professional staff to support student success
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to promote a positive and supportive learning environment

Qualifications:

  • Valid BC Teaching Certificate
  • Member in good standing in the BC Ministry of Education, Teacher Regulation Branch
  • Training Specialization: Secondary Education with a Master's Degree in Counselling
  • Recent successful experience as an Elementary School Counsellor

Additional Information:

The starting annual salary for this position ranges from $61,175 to $109,520, with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications. We also offer a competitive benefits package and pension.
