Transformative Cloud Engineering Opportunities

The Commonwealth Bank of Australia is seeking a seasoned Cloud Engineering Manager to lead its cloud-based technology and cybersecurity initiatives. As a key member of the Group Audit and Assurance team, you will be responsible for developing comprehensive audit plans for cloud infrastructure, DevOps processes, and engineering practices.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing cloud security controls, access management, and data protection frameworks
  • Conducting thorough assessments of cloud environments, configurations, and deployment pipelines
  • Evaluating security risks and vulnerabilities in cloud architecture and services
  • Providing guidance and recommendations for maintaining compliance in cloud environments
  • Documenting audit findings, recommendations, and risk assessment reports in a clear and concise manner

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in cloud engineering, DevOps practices, and infrastructure security
  • Strong knowledge of IT areas such as containers, network security, CI/CD, and Kubernetes
  • Experience in auditing cloud-based environments and AI is highly desirable
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence work cross-functionally
  • Strong communication and senior stakeholder engagement skills
