Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Energy Trading team as a Vice President, Commodities Trading. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading financial institution and contribute to the growth and success of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and execute hedging and financing transactions for our investor, corporate, and commercial clients.
  • Develop and maintain fundamental models to price and execute natural gas and crude oil derivatives.
  • Collaborate with the Commodities Trading team to share market information and solve problems.
  • Build relationships with product partners across Global Markets to provide and solicit cross-product mandates for new opportunities.
  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through strong cross-department coordination with various groups.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in commodities trading, preferably in a bank or trade shop.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to exercise independent thought and judgment.
  • Strong knowledge of energy markets, financial and physical, as well as derivatives, including options.
  • Proficiency in financial computer applications, including MS Excel, VBA, and Bloomberg.
  • Creative, insightful, and eager to learn, with a passion for working in a market-making, direct client-facing role.
