Commodities Trading Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our Energy Trading team as a Vice President, Commodities Trading. This role will be responsible for managing and executing hedging and financing transactions for our investor, corporate, and commercial clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage an active book of Energy Derivatives with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a bank, trade shop, market-maker, or hedge fund.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, product partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Utilize financial computer applications, including MS Excel, VBA, and Bloomberg, to analyze and communicate complex financial data.
  • Stay current on emerging Energy Industry trends in Canada and the US.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Energy Trading or a related field.
  • Expertise in financial computer applications, including MS Excel, VBA, and Bloomberg.
  • Strong knowledge of Energy markets, financial and physical.
  • Knowledge of banking and risk concepts, as well as derivative regulations.
