Key Responsibilities- Prepare and submit regular reports to management on production progress and any issues that may arise.
- Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality, and implement changes as needed.
- Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
- Establish and manage work schedules to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Train or arrange for training of production staff to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their duties.
- Oversee the safety of operations and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
- Set up and maintain machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of production staff, and review their performance as needed.
- College/CEGEP education.
- 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
