Job Summary

Goudreau Personnel by Swinton Ltd. is seeking a skilled Production Supervisor to oversee the assembly process and ensure efficient production. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing and excellent leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and submit regular reports to management on production progress and any issues that may arise.
  • Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality, and implement changes as needed.
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Establish and manage work schedules to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Train or arrange for training of production staff to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their duties.
  • Oversee the safety of operations and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Set up and maintain machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of production staff, and review their performance as needed.
Requirements
  • College/CEGEP education.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
