Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Join Tim Hortons Store 9291 as a Food Service Supervisor and take on a leadership role in our kitchen team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service, maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction, and leading a team of food service staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and implement effective work schedules to meet customer demand and maintain a high level of service quality.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to ensure adequate inventory levels and minimize waste.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, providing guidance and training as needed to ensure they meet the required standards.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and ensure they understand the importance of maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
  • Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform inventory management and cost control decisions.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products and services.
  • Ensure that all food and beverages meet quality control standards, and address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service or related role.
  • Equivalent experience or training in a related field may be considered.
Work Environment:
  • Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
