Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

JAG 'N SUGAR RESTAURANTS INC. is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Food Service Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising staff, managing inventory, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Prepare and submit reports
Requirements:
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in a food service environment
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a noisy restaurant environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The position requires standing for extended periods and working under pressure.
