Job Title: Tile Setter
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Tile Setter to join our team at Beaufort Construction. As a Tile Setter, you will be responsible for preparing, measuring, and marking surfaces to be covered with tile. You will also mix, apply, and spread mortar, cement, mastic, glue, or other adhesives using a hand trowel. Additionally, you will set tiles in place and apply pressure to affix them to the base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for tile installation
- Mix and apply adhesives
- Set tiles in place
- Cut and fit tiles around obstacles
- Pack grout into joints
- Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles
- Lay and set mosaic tiles
- Install anchor bolts, wires, and brackets
- Cut, surface, polish, and install marble and granite
Requirements:
- No degree, certificate, or diploma required
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
- English language proficiency
- 40 hours per week
