At 6240 NWT Ltd., we are seeking a skilled Tile Setter to join our team. As a Tile Setter, you will be responsible for preparing, measuring, and marking surfaces to be covered with tiles.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare surfaces for tile installation by cleaning, repairing, and applying adhesives.
- Measure and mark surfaces to ensure accurate tile placement.
- Apply and spread adhesives using hand trowels.
- Set tiles in place and apply pressure to affix them to the base.
- Align and straighten tiles to ensure a professional finish.
- Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools.
- Pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout.
- Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles.
- Mix, lay, and polish terra surfaces.
Requirements:
- No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in tile setting or a related field.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Work Details:
- Permanent position.
- 40 hours per week.
- English language required.
