About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager of Data Insights to join our team at Electronic Arts. As a key member of our Sports Analytics team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and improving player experiences through data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Cross-Functional Analytics Teams: Manage a team of analysts, data engineers, and BI developers to deliver high-impact analytics initiatives that enhance player experiences and game performance.
  • Mentorship and Guidance: Provide hands-on guidance and mentorship to empower team members and help them grow in their roles.
  • Collaboration and Partnership: Foster strong relationships with the NHL/UFC live services team, product managers, and studio leadership to optimize live service activities and drive business growth.
  • Data Strategy and Insights: Develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy that aligns with the overall goals of the NHL game product management team. Ensure that data initiatives are effectively prioritized and resourced.
  • Presenting Insights: Create compelling data visualizations and dashboards to communicate insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and other key stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: Minimum of 5 years of leading cross-functional analytics teams, ideally in the game analytics space.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Prior experience collaborating and being the point person for multiple stakeholders.
  • Data Analysis and Insights: Ability to use and understand in-game trends using data insights to affect top-line indicators.
  • Technical Skills: Expertise with SQL, including stored procedures and UDFs. Experience developing BI reports using BI tools (PowerBI / Looker / Tableau). Experience building cloud infrastructure – Azure, AWS, Google Cloud. Familiarity with task management tools (Jira / Trello / Monday / Asana).
What We Offer

Electronic Arts offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $126,000 - $176,300 CAN Annually, depending on location. We also offer a package of benefits, including vacation time, sick leave, extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, and a retirement plan for regular full-time employees.
