As a Senior Data Scientist on Twilio's Segment Data Science & Analytics, GTM team, you will leverage your expertise to drive business decisions and propel the company forward. This is an opportunity to develop and refine data-driven solutions that foster growth and innovation.

This role offers the chance to contribute significantly to the success of our Sales, Marketing, and Finance departments. By crafting actionable insights from complex datasets, you will be instrumental in refining our understanding of business trends and developing strategies to capitalize on emerging opportunities.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Owning financial source of truth tables and performing analytics engineering to improve data models.
  • Implementing dashboards and data science models using Python, Tableau, Looker, and open-source libraries.
  • Supporting key functional and business priorities with industry-leading analytics portfolios.
  • Developing and maintaining models to deliver data-driven insights, analyzing pipeline health, and driving results for GTM teams.
  • Collaborating with Sr. Directors and Directors to frame business opportunities and develop analytical strategies.
  • Generating insights and recommendations through exploratory analysis, hypothesis testing, and statistical modeling.
  • Driving cross-functional analytics projects from beginning to end: building relationships, collecting and analyzing data, and presenting key findings and recommendations.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • 7+ years of experience in B2B SaaS companies.
  • A Master's or Ph.D. degree in a quantitative or technical field.
  • Expert-level SQL skills and dashboarding expertise in tools like Looker or Tableau.
  • A strong grasp of statistical modeling and proficiency in tools such as Python, DBT, Github, Snowflake, and Segment.
  • Comfortable working with large, complex datasets and data systems.
  • Strong business acumen and a deep sense of curiosity.
