About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Kebab Kitchens Limited. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dining room.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units to maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.
  • Dishwashing and Food Preparation: Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, and assist with portioning and wrapping foods.
  • Customer Service: Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
  • Supply Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Floor Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  • Food Preparation: Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn on the job.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
  • Work Schedule: 30 to 35 hours per week.
