About the Job:

The Branch Manager plays a key role in leading our team to deliver exceptional customer experiences and business results. As a seasoned leader, you will be responsible for mentoring and guiding your team to excel in their roles, promoting TD's image and goodwill within the community, and enhancing customer experience by understanding their financial needs and providing appropriate solutions.

Responsibilities:

  1. Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to your team members to help them improve their advice-giving strategies and customer service skills.
  2. Community Involvement: Participate in community events to promote TD's image and goodwill.
  3. Customer Experience: Understand and address the financial needs of our customers, providing personalized solutions to improve their financial confidence.
  4. Branch Operations: Act as the highest point of escalation for the branch, ensuring customer issues are resolved efficiently and effectively.
  5. Administrative Duties: Oversee complex branch administrative tasks, such as managing mutual funds, real estate secured credit, and other compliance-related issues.
  6. Employee Scheduling: Ensure optimal employee scheduling to meet business needs.
  7. Business Development: Develop and implement business development strategies within budget, communicating results to the team to meet business objectives.
  8. Operational Excellence: Ensure accuracy of all customer transactions, adhering to TD's policies and procedures.
  9. Team Development: Mentor your team on offering One TD solutions and building lasting relationships with customers.
  10. Industry Knowledge: Stay updated on industry regulations, processes, and emerging issues through liaison with Wealth and Business Banking.

Requirements:

  1. Education and Experience: Undergraduate degree and/or over 5 years of relevant experience.
  2. Compliance: Completion of Branch Compliance Officer (BCO) and IFIC or CSC Course.
  3. Leadership Skills: Proven leadership skills, with a strategic thinker able to exercise discretion and judgment.
  4. Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to interact with customers, employees, and cross-functional teams.
  5. Decision-Making: A thorough and accurate decision-maker who can handle confidential information.
  6. Leadership Style: A dedicated and committed leader who can positively influence the team and achieve results.
