Job Summary:

We're looking for a skilled Urban Planner to lead and support projects for public and private-sector clients. You'll work collaboratively with our team to develop innovative solutions that prioritize human-centric design, sustainability, and technology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct land development, community planning, urban design, and land use studies
  • Develop and manage the approval process for land use planning applications
  • Assist in business development and proposal preparation for clients
  • Contribute to all aspects of land use planning projects, with a focus on land development and subdivision planning
  • Prepare municipal planning documents and policies
  • Manage and support multiple planning projects
Qualifications:
  • 3-10 years of experience in planning, urban design, or applied professions
  • Eligible for Registered Professional Planner (RPP) designation
  • An accredited degree in Urban Planning; a master's degree is an asset
  • IAP2 certification is an asset
  • Familiarity with provincial planning legislation and the development approval process
