About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team at Ravneet Kanda. As a Personal Support Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to our elderly clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, ensuring their dignity and well-being are maintained at all times.
  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene, promoting independence and confidence.
  • Provide companionship and engage clients in regular exercise, such as walking, to maintain their physical and mental health.
  • Administer medications and assist with meal preparation, ensuring clients receive the care and nutrition they need.
  • Plan and implement therapeutic diets and menus, taking into account clients' dietary needs and preferences.
  • Provide emotional support and reassurance to clients, promoting a sense of security and comfort.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliability, flexibility, and patience.
