We are seeking a part-time Faculty Member to join our Adventure Studies Department. The successful candidate will teach various courses in the Adventure Tourism and Guiding program, including field and classroom courses.
The ideal candidate will have extensive professional outdoor experience, industry certification at the instructor or examiner level, and familiarity with TRU programs and courses.
Responsibilities will include teaching, course development, and assessment. The Faculty Member will work closely with the Department Chair and other faculty members to ensure the delivery of high-quality programs.
Qualifications include a relevant diploma or professional qualifications, extensive professional outdoor experience, and industry certification at the instructor or examiner level.
Applications should include a cover letter, resume, and any relevant certifications or qualifications.
