Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for designing HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems under the supervision of an engineer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop piping systems using AutoCAD and Revit, including air distribution calculations, duct sizing, duct layout, refrigerant piping, chilled water piping, and diffusers/grill sizing.
  • Prepare specifications and bills of quantities.
  • Conduct site surveys and construction follow-ups.

Requirements

  • Technologist degree in a relevant field.
  • Certification in Mechanical or Industrial design and drafting, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in process design and mechanical building design.
  • Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit, specifically in 3D modeling.
  • Experience with Autodesk Plant 3D or Autodesk Navisworks is an asset.
  • Process design knowledge is an asset.
  • Experience with sanitary process piping in the food and beverage industry is an asset.
