The Nurse Care Specialist plays a vital role in providing exceptional patient care in our Intensive Care Unit. This is a full-time relief position until January 1, 2025.



About this location/unit:

Our Patient Services Tower offers a bright and spacious working area with wide halls and ample storage space. The new Critical Care unit features three family areas: a waiting room, a quiet room, and a family overnight room, ensuring a positive experience for patients and their families.

This is an opportunity to work in a decentralized model that moves nurses and services directly to the patient's bedside, promoting optimal patient privacy and enhancing private family interactions. Our Intensive Care Unit consists of 10 beds, with five RNs working day shifts and five working night shifts.

As a Nurse Care Specialist, you will have the chance to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, enhance quality of life for patients and their families, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provides nursing care to ICU patients, both independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
  • Enhances quality of life for patients and their families through consultation, collaboration, and evidence-based practice
  • Maintains and advances clinical competence through continuous learning and professional development


Work Schedule:

Shifts of work will be scheduled between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM and 7:00 AM, rotating every few days.


Salary:

The estimated salary range for this position is $83,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
