We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Parts Consultant to join our team at Capital Ford Lincoln Inc. in Regina. As a key member of our parts department, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of parts to our technicians and customers.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with the production manager and repair planner to ensure efficient parts ordering and delivery.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors to locate and order parts in a timely manner.
- Receive and inspect parts shipments for quality and accuracy, and ensure timely distribution to the shop.
- Receiving and scanning invoices of parts shipments, and providing them to the repair planner.
- Supply Body Shop Technicians with parts as required, and verify correct parts with a mirror match.
- Return and re-order incorrect or damaged parts, and coordinate with technicians and estimators on supplemental damage.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized parts department, and assist in the detailing process of vehicles when necessary.
- Place ordered parts on assigned part racks and carts in a timely manner, and maintain an accurate accounting record of parts.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to ensure efficient and effective repair.
- One year of experience in a retail or wholesale parts department.
- Ability to interpret vendor catalogs.
- Hold a driver's license with a clean driving record.
