Senior Tax Manager

Key Responsibilities:
* Work closely with Tax Partners and other tax staff to develop and implement tax planning assignments for clients.
* Prepare and review personal and corporate tax returns.
* Perform technical research and document tax plan recommendations.
* Mentor, train, and develop staff.
* Collaborate with peers and senior management on file planning and completion within time constraints.
* Perform other related accounting functions.
Requirements:
* 3-5 years of public accounting experience with a tax specialty and a professional designation.
* Successful completion or in the process of completing the In-Depth Tax Program.
* Sound technical knowledge of Canadian tax-related issues.
* Self-motivation with an ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
* Strong analytical skills and creativity to identify problems and potential solutions.
* Strong proficiency in client-focused service.
* Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
* Strong understanding of a client-focused environment including related deadlines and the ability to work to meet those deadlines.
* A passion for tax work.
