Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing tax planning assignments for clients, preparing and reviewing personal and corporate tax returns, and performing technical research and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement tax planning assignments for clients
- Prepare and review personal and corporate tax returns
- Perform technical research and documentation
- Mentor, train, and develop staff
- Collaborate with peers and senior management on file planning and completion
- Perform other related accounting functions
Requirements
- 3-5 years of public accounting experience with a tax specialty and a professional designation
- Successful completion or in the process of completing the In-Depth Tax Program
- Sound technical knowledge of Canadian tax-related issues
- A passion for tax work
