Cineplex is seeking a dynamic and experienced Theatre Operations Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in leading and managing a dedicated team of employees, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with leading and managing a theatre team, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Manage the guest experience, ensuring every guest has a memorable and enjoyable visit.
- Assist with managing theatre budgets, identifying opportunities for growth and revenue increase.
- Forecast and implement initiatives to drive business forward, strengthening Cineplex's position as Canada's premier film exhibition company.
Requirements:
- Demonstrate strong communication, organization, management, and leadership skills to lead a theatre team.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
- Strong computer aptitude, with proficiency in relevant software and systems.
- Ability to initiate innovative and creative sales and food service activities, driving revenue growth and enhancing the guest experience.
- Safe food handling certification is an asset.
- Aware of health, safety, and environmental legislation and regulations applicable to theatre operations.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple activities, attending to employee development while meeting financial targets and reporting responsibilities.
- Previous management experience in a theatre, fast food, restaurant, or similar environment is considered an asset.
