About the Job:

We are seeking an experienced senior food service operations manager to lead our food services team. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating activities of staff who prepare and portion food, estimating ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintaining records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Scheduling and Planning: Establish methods to meet work schedules, supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and establish work schedules.
  • Supervision: Supervise 1 to 2 people and provide on-the-job training tailored to youth.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
